Village Barber Sponsors Ash's fundraising for Parkinson's UK March 02 2015, 0 Comments

Ash Kane, whose mum has been diagnosed with Parkinson's, is aiming to raise £3700 for the UK Charity.

To assist, Village Barber is sponsoring her heartfelt efforts by donating £1.00 for every Shaving Oil or Aftershave Balm product bought from our website over the next 12 months. Each time you buy a product from us you also will be helping in the worthy cause.

Ash said recently: “I am cycling 500 km (310  miles) between two countries for Parkinson’s UK because my mum has Parkinson’s and I want to help find a cure. My intention is to cycle 500 km from Vietnam to Cambodia to raise as much money as possible for Parkinson's UK charity”.

“My mum is diagnosed with Parkinson's and it is difficult to see her struggle with daily tasks.  So many families have to go through this knowing that there is no cure at present.  Hopefully with support and fund raising, we can all help research to find a cure soon”.

Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson's. This affects everyone in the family and the charity helps people to face this difficult challenge by offering friendship, support, expert information and advice. They also fund ground breaking research into Parkinson's and are leading the way to find a cure.
